About this game

FreeCell is a solitaire game built around information and planning: all 52 cards are visible from the beginning, distributed across eight tableau columns. Build four foundations upward by suit, starting with the Aces and ending with the Kings. Within the tableau, arrange cards in descending rank with alternating colors. Because there are no hidden cards and no stock to draw from, progress depends on understanding the layout and creating a workable order of moves.

Four free cells provide temporary storage for individual cards, allowing you to reach cards that would otherwise remain blocked. Each occupied cell reduces your flexibility, so use these spaces deliberately and look for opportunities to empty them again. Vacant tableau columns are equally valuable, giving you room to reorganize the board and prepare longer transfers. Plan several moves ahead before displacing a useful card, balance foundation progress with tableau access, and avoid filling every spare space without a clear way to release it.

The Daybreak-style interface presents the full deal clearly, making it easy to scan the columns, free cells, and foundations as you develop a strategy. Responsive controls support precise card selection and destination choices on desktop and mobile, and the layout works in either orientation. Take time to compare alternatives and discover how a small change can unlock an entire column. With no login required, FreeCell offers an accessible, thoughtful card challenge whenever you want to exercise your strategic planning.
