About this game
Sudoku is the classic number-placement logic puzzle. Fill the 9×9 grid so that every row, every column and every 3×3 box contains the digits 1 through 9 exactly once. Some cells start filled in as clues; your job is to deduce the rest using logic alone—no guessing required.
Every puzzle is generated with exactly one solution. Choose from three difficulty levels: Easy (40–45 clues), Medium (30–35 clues), or Hard (25–28 clues). A new Daily Puzzle arrives each day for every difficulty, and everyone gets the same grid on the same date—so you can compare times with friends. Want more? Switch to Random Puzzle for an endless supply of fresh grids.
The timer starts with your first entry, and your best completion time for each difficulty is saved and displayed. Clashing digits are highlighted as you play, and the row, column and box around the selected square are shaded to help you scan. Play for free on desktop or mobile—no account required.
Controls
Desktop: Click a square to select it, then type a digit 1–9 or click a number on the pad below the board. Use the arrow keys to move between squares. Press Backspace, Delete or 0 (or click the eraser) to clear a square. Given clues can't be changed. Mobile: Tap a square to select it, then tap a number on the pad below the board. Tap the eraser button to clear a square. Goal: Fill every empty square so each row, column and 3×3 box contains 1–9 with no repeats. Digits that clash with another in the same row, column or box turn orange. Solve the puzzle as fast as you can to set a new best time.
