What It Is

Square Enix bills Resonance as the first HD-2D entry in the FINAL FANTASY series. It rebuilds the first story arc of the mobile game FINAL FANTASY Brave Exvius into a full console-style RPG. Players follow Rain and Laswell through a crystal-focused story that brings back chocobos, espers, and airships, plus guest appearances from series characters such as Cloud, Tidus, and the Warrior of Light.

Combat is turn-based with Visions fighting alongside the party, stagger and weakness play, and cinematic Resonance attacks.
